About the Contest

The Lineage II Wallpaper Contest is back! Design a beautiful or eye-catching desktop wallpaper to be featured on the official Lineage® II site for your chance to win some great prizes. This is your chance to win rare, unique jewelry specially created for Lineage® II players worldwide, so send us your best creation!

You can use the following to create your own unique wallpaper:

  • Logos and images from the official Lineage® II web site and fan site kit
  • In-game images that you capture yourself
  • Your own original work

Submission Guidelines

One wallpaper entry ONLY per person will be accepted. Please make sure the file format is RGB jpgs (non-.jpg formats will not be considered). All entries must be submitted in the following screen resolutions and be 72 dpi:

  • 1600 x 1200 pixels
  • 1280 x 960 pixels
  • 1024 x 768 pixels
  • 800 x 600 pixels

Tip: Create your 1600 x 1200 sized version first, and then decrease the file size down to the other three required sizes, adjusting your art elements accordingly.

All submissions will be judged on creativity, difficulty, and overall presentation.

Copyrighted Materials

PLEASE NOTE: Lineage® II images (that NCsoft® owns) are available for your use. However, you may NOT use any materials that you (or NCsoft®) do not own the rights to for the purposes of this contest. Likewise, taking an image from something that you (or NCsoft®) do not own and altering it slightly then presenting it as your own work is strictly prohibited. You (or NCsoft®) must have ownership rights to every element included in the entry you submit. You must make sure your entry doesn’t infringe on any patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right, or any privacy, publicity or publishing rights of any third party, or is not libelous, obscene or otherwise contrary to law.

Eligibility

One wallpaper entry ONLY per person will be accepted.

You must be 13 years of age or older to participate and a legal resident of the United States (excluding the State of Rhode Island, and excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, military installations and commonwealths), Canada (excluding Quebec), or the European Union as of Wednesday, February 21, 2007 to participate in this contest.
