Eva's Blessings
A special UI window will appear during this event allowing players to see how many spirits of fire have been slain by their server each day. When enough spirits of fire have been killed on a given day, the entire server will receive a blessing of bonus experience. The blessing will last for a set amount of time and any player that logs on in that time frame will receive bonus experience while hunting. Eva's Blessings will become more powerful and longer lasting as the event continues.Day 6, 10, and 14 Special Rewards
On the 6th, 10th, and 14th day of the event there are no worldwide blessings and instead, Jack Sage has special rewards available for servers who defeat enough fire spirits. If the server defeats enough fire spirits on these days, players may seek out Jack Sage within a limited amount of time to obtain their reward. On the 10th and 14th day of the event, players will have twenty fours hours from when the daily amount of fire spirits has been reached to seek Jack Sage and receive their reward. On these three days, players do not have to be online at the moment that enough fire spirits have been defeated in order to get their reward, provided that they speak to Jack Sage within the time limit.Reward Item Trade-ability
The following event items may be traded with other players: Seed of Fire, Explosive Seed of Fire, Eva's Rune Pack, Eva's Circlet Pack, Blessed Scroll of Escape, Blessed Scroll of Resurrection.All other event rewards cannot be traded. Please note that once Eva's Packs are opened, the item inside becomes bound to the player who opened the item. The timer for these items will begin as soon as they are opened and will continue to count down until they expire. The timer will continue to count down even if the player is offline so make sure you are ready to use these items when you open them.
During our regularly scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, September 8th, all Seeds of Fire and Explosive Seeds of Fire will be removed from the world. All other items will remain once the event is over. Jack Sage will remain for one extra week.
Additional Event Changes 9/1/09
The event periods will begin begin at 3 am CDT for US servers and 2am BST for EU servers. This is when the event will reset every day. For the US servers, this means that 1am PDT / 3am CDT / 4am EDT / 8am GMT / 9am BST is your reset time. For EU servers it is 6pm PDT / 8pm CDT / 9pm EDT / 1am GMT / 2am BST.Day 10 and Day 14 rewards can now be received from Jack Sage for up to 24 hours after the event blessing period has been reached.
The rewards for Day 10 and 14 have been changed due to player feedback on the event. We have introduced a new reward to the event and removed several scroll rewards from the chests for day 10 and 14. On Day 10, all chests will contain Vitality Replenishing Potions and our new reward, a 5 hour duration Rune of SP 30%. When you open the chest for Day 10, the rune will activate and the timer will start counting down so you will not want to open the chest until you are absolutely ready to begin using the Rune of SP. The Rune of SP 30% cannot be traded.
Day 14 chests will now contain a 5 hour Rune of Experience Points 50% and a 5 hour Rune of SP 50%. Similar to the Day 10 rune, the timer for these runes will begin as soon as you open the chest. It will not be possible to stop the timer once the chest has been opened so make sure you are ready to begin using the runes when you open the chest. Every chest will contain the same rewards so you will know exactly what is inside. These runes are not tradable.
The following rewards that were initially mentioned on the Event page are no longer available: Experience Rune 30% (This has been replaced with the 50% variety), transformation scrolls, several buff scrolls. All of these rewards have been replaced with extra vitality potions, more potent experience runes, and the new SP increasing rune.
