Congratulations to the clan that won this giveaway! Remember, the winners are receiving the rights to be the first clan to own these halls on the new servers. The future ownerships of the halls is at the players' discretion.

The clan halls were distributed to the winning clans on November 2nd, 2010.

The Lineage® II servers have merged from eight to two and so fewer Clan Halls are available to players. In a past server merge, some unscrupulous characters raced to make the capped bid amount for an auctionable Clan Hall and win a hall. Once they had the Clan Hall, they resold the hall, effectively scalping Clan Halls to those who are in need of a Clan Hall for competitive gameplay. To avoid a repeat of the same issue, the Lineage II team has decided on using a Clan Hall distribution that more fairly allocates the Clan Halls to eligible participants.

This distribution is a structured giveaway. The process works like this:

• The clan and clan leader (or representative) meet the eligibility requirements.
  
• The clan leader (or representative) sends in the clan's entry. The clan makes sure that the required amount of adena is in the Clan Warehouse, from which customer support removes the entry fee when the entry is accepted.
  
• The Lineage II team impartially reviews the status of all clans that enter the giveaway, applying the same evaluation formula to all participating clans. (We will not disclose the specific formula to avoid potential criteria manipulation.)
  
• The winning clans are randomly selected. The player that submitted the entry must complete and return the Winners Release Terms document within a required time.
  
• Clan Halls are awarded to the winners. If a clan owns a contestable Clan Hall and wins an auctionable Clan Hall in the giveaway, the contestable Clan Hall is released.
  
• Partial entry fees are reimbursed to nonwinners.

To participate in the giveaway, the clan submitting the entry must meet all of these clan eligibility requirements:

• The clan must be level 5 or higher as of 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on September 19, 2010.
  
• The clan must be level 6 or higher as of 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on October 20, 2010.
  
• The clan must have a minimum number of members (depending on its clan level) by 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on October 20, 2010:
  
  • Clan level 6: 28 members
    
  • Clan level 7: 55 members
    
  • Clan level 8: 70 members
    
  • Clan level 9: 80 members
    
  • Clan level 10: 90 members
    
  • Clan level 11: 100 members
• The clan's leader must not be banned.

The player that is submitting the entry must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The character sending the entry must be the clan leader. If the player of the clan leader character is not 13 years or older in age, is a minor in his or her country of residence, or lives in an ineligible country, state, or province, the clan leader must select a fellow clan member to represent the clan in the giveaway. (Read more about this in the "Clan leader or representative?" section below.)
  
• The required amount of Adena must be in the Clan Warehouse (not in the clan leader's or representative's inventory or private warehouse). The amount is determined by which grade of Clan Hall is being bid for in the entry:
  
  • A-grade Clan Hall: 5,000,000,000 Adena
    
  • B-grade Clan Hall: 3,500,000,000 Adena
    
  • C-grade Clan Hall: 2,500,000,000 Adena
• As of October 7, 2010, the player making the entry must be 13 years of age or older and must not be a minor in his or her country of residence.
  
• As of October 7, 2010, the player making the entry must have Internet access and an email account and access to a personal computer.
  
• As of October 7, 2010, the player making the entry must be a resident of the United States (excluding the state of Rhode Island, and excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, military installations and commonwealths), Canada (excluding Quebec), or the European Union. Canadian residents will be required to answer an additional mathematical question in order to claim a prize.

Clan Halls are ranked into three grades: A-grade, B-grade, and C-grade.

• Clan levels 6, 7, and 8 are eligible for the B-grade and C-grade Clan Halls.
  
• Clan levels 9, 10, and 11 are eligible for the A-grade and B-grade Clan halls.

The entry period opens at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time October 7, 2010 and closes at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on October 20, 2010. Beginning 00:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time on October 21, 2010, no more entries will be admitted, and the review and random selection process will begin.

The clan leader or representative must submit the entry through the NCsoft Support page's Ask a Question tab on the NCsoft website.

• The email address used to submit the entry must match the email address that is currently registered to the clan leader's NCsoft Master Account or of the designated representative.
  
• Fill in the Subject field in this format: [Server] [Clan Hall Grade] Clan Hall Distribution Submission - [Clan Name]. For example: Naia A-grade Clan Hall Distribution Submission - Sample Clan Name

When you send in your entry, you will receive an automatic response that says that your ticket has been received and entered into our system. If your entry is received and found to be ineligible, the entry will be rejected, and you will receive a response explaining that it was rejected and why it was rejected. Ineligible clans that send an entry will be rejected due to ineligibility. If your clan is eligible but your entry was rejected because your entry was simply missing a piece of required information, you can resend your entry once you have added that information.

Once your entry is received, we impartially review the status of your clan and the entry. We apply the same evaluation formula and criteria to all clans and entries.

When the entry period closes, the winning entries is randomly selected, and each winning clan receives a Clan Hall of the grade it bid for. The required bid amount of Adena is withdrawn from the Clan Warehouse. Each clan that does not win a Clan Hall will be reimbursed 85% of the amount originally submitted to its Clan Warehouse.

If your clan currently owns a contestable Clan Hall and wins an auctionable Clan Hall in this distribution giveaway, the contestable Clan Hall is released.

If the clan leader of an otherwise eligible clan is not of the proper age, is a minor in his or her country of residence, or does not live in an eligible country, state, or province, the clan leader must select a fellow clan member to represent the clan.

The representative must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• As of October 7, 2010, the player making the entry must be 13 years of age or older and must not be a minor in his or her country of residence.

For a clan leader to officially specify a representative, the clan leader must submit a request through the NCsoft Support page's Ask a Question tab on the NCsoft website.
