February 18 - March 4, 2011

Calling all artists and writers! We invite you to create a Lineage II-themed comic book story to tell your tales and show off your artistic side. Comics, like computer games, are sources of entertainment and graphical beauty. They can be silly, dark, serious, or anything that is fun to read. You decide what kind of tale to tell! You also decide if you want to make your comic book with your own original art or by using screenshots from the game. You might want to explore the comics that skillful and talented Lineage II players made in a previous comic contest. In them, you may find some inspiration and ideas for this Chaotic Comic Contest!

Congratulations to the Winners!

How can I participate in this contest?

1. Pick A Category
Your comics artistic format must be one of these two categories and cannot be a combination of both.

  • Original Art - Make your own drawings or digital art that does not incorporate screenshots.
  • Screenshots - Use only screenshots from the game for your comic art. Use of a painting program (such as Photoshop) for cropping, altering, and adding word bubbles and text is allowed.

2. Create Your Comic

First, think of what you want to convey with the comic. A comic strip can be a story or a simple joke, and can be of any length.

Next, create the images to tell your story. The images can be of any size or shape.

We specifically allow you to use screenshots of Lineage II to make your comic in this contest. However, the text and images of your comic must comply with the Lineage II Rules of Conduct and cannot contain any copyrighted material that is not of your making.

Save your images into JPEG file format. You may submit multiple image files (but all image files are part of one single comic submission).

3. Submit Your Entry

You can submit one comic entry per person only.

The entry period begins at 00:00 a.m. (PST) on Friday, February 18, 2011. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (PST), Friday, March 4, 2011, and must be in English. Entries must be emailed to l2submissions@ncsoft.com and must include:
