Fantasy Isle is now the site for a massive treasure hunt. Go to Fantasy Isle, transform into a Treasure Hunter, and hunt for and open treasure chests. Bountiful rewards await you!
This event revolves around Treasure Sack Pieces. Get these items by hunting regular monsters all around the world or by playing the event's mini-game on Fantasy Isle.
Talk to Snow again and purchase a Treasure Hunter Transformation Scroll for 500 Adena. Each Lineage II game account may only purchase one scroll every 12 hours.
Transform your character. The Treasure Hunter transformation disappears if you enter any kind of water. The Treasure Hunter transformation lasts 10 minutes. Once transformed, your character can use these transformation skills:
- Treasure Hunter Search: This skill reveals any treasure chests hidden close to your character.
- Treasure Hunter Hammer Punch: This skill opens treasure chests.
The treasure chests hidden around Fantasy Isle are invisible, but say things aloud to your character. When your character is near a treasure chest, you see what they have to say in the system messages window. These messages are your cue to use the Treasure Hunter Search skill.
If you use the Treasure Hunter Search skill when your character is close enough to a hidden treasure chest, three treasure chests appear nearby.
Once you see a treasure chest, act fast. Treasure chests disappear in 15 seconds. Target one of the treasure chests, and use the Treasure Hunter Hammer Punch skill to open it.
The opened treasure chest drops Treasure Sack Pieces. The other treasure chests disappear.
Search for and open as many treasure chests as you can while your character is transformed.
Once the transformation is gone, you can go hunting to acquire more Treasure Sack Pieces. In 12 hours, you can purchase another transformation scroll.
Once you have collected 50 or more Treasure Sack Pieces, return to Snow. He can exchange 50 Treasure Sack pieces for one of six different kinds of Treasure Sacks, each of which yields different kinds of rewards.
The Treasure Hunt event runs from February 22, 2011 to March 8, 2011. Beginning on March 1, Treasure Sack Pieces can no longer be found on monsters, and Snow will no longer sell the event transformation scrolls.
Each Treasure Sack produces one random reward, and each reward depends on what kind of Treasure Sack you open. Some rewards are only one item, and other rewards are a bundle of multiple items.
