Thank You Letters and Gifts

Thank you for being awesome players over the years! We're sending you a thank-you letter by in-game mail and gifts to your warehouse each week for three weeks. The letters and items will be delivered on October 19, and 26, and on November 2. The items will be sent to the highest level character per server per account. To receive the items, your account must be active. (Trial, inactive and closed accounts are not included.)
The Gifts
- 3 Potion Support Packs: A wrapped pack containing 20 Greater Quick Healing Potions, 50 Greater Healing Potions, 5 Fresh Milks, and 5 Leaves of Appreciation. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed.
- 1 Supplies Support Pack: A wrapped pack containing 200,000 Mysterious Soulshots of all grade. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed.
- 1 Dimensional Support Pack: A wrapped pack containing 2 Superior Minion Coupons, 3 Feathers of Blessing, 5 Kamaloka (Rim, Hall of the Abyss, Labyrinth of the Abyss) entrance passes, and 3 Vitality Replenishing Beverages. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed.
The three packs' former expiration timer of 90 days has been removed. The packs and the items inside are now all permanent.
Gift Details
Leaf of Appreciation: When used, increases Max MP by 20%, MP recovery bonus by 20%, HP recovery bonus by 20%, Magic Critical Rate by 100%, Physical Critical power by 20%, P. Atk. by 10%, P. Def. by 20%, Atk. Spd. by 20%, M. Atk. by 20%, M. Def. by 20%, Casting Spd. by 20%, and resistance to debuffs by 10% for one hour. Also decreases Speed by 20% and skill MP consumption by 5%. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed.
Mysterious Soulshots: The pack gives you 20,000 of every grade of soulshot and blessed spiritshot. The shots are weightless and cannot be traded, dropped, or shared.
Superior Minion Coupons: Take the coupon to the Dimensional Merchant to select a minion to fight alongside you for 5 hours. The coupon can be traded with to other characters on the same server and same account via the Dimensional Merchant. The available minions are:
- Toy Knight: Attacks your enemies with a sword while using warrior-type buffs and heals to help you in battle.
- Spirit Shaman: Helps you in battle with magician-type buffs, heals and recharges.
- Turtle Ascetic: Warsmith pet that manages your weapons or shields and helps heal and recharge you during battle.
Feather of Blessing: Allows you to resurrect on the spot when killed if you have the Feather of Blessing in your inventory. All XP lost due to death will be returned. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared between characters within the account through the Dimensional Merchant.
Kamaloka Entrance Pass: An extra entrance pass that allows you to enter a Kamaloka (Labyrinth of the Abyss, Rim Kamaloka, Hall of the Abyss) even if you are already affected by a Kamaloka lock-out timer. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared between characters within the account through the Dimensional Merchant.
Vitality Replenishing Beverage: Replenishes 100% Vitality upon use. Reuse time is 60 minutes. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared between characters within the same account through the Dimensional Merchant.
Halloween Surprise
October 19 - November 2
Puss the Cat is at it again. Instead of ordering pumpkins for Halloween, he ordered watermelons instead. On top of it, he won't even confess his error! He is making up a story about a wizard and a Bloody Fairy, as if it wasn't his fault at all. Plus, he's asking us to do the clean up for his mistakes! He's telling adventurers to collect watermelon seeds, grow them into watermelons, and smash them. Strangely, some of the watermelons can only be smashed by using Chrono weapons. Using musical instruments to destroy watermelons? Odds that he's covering up some other mistake of his. I suppose we could say that Puss is putting the "trick" into "trick or treat," though, and on the bright side, these watermelons are full of items that adventurers can use, so we're glad that he decided to make an event out of it.
- Speak to Puss the Cat in any town to learn more about the event. He will also trade you Nectar for seeds and Chrono weapons.
Get Nectar, which is dropped by monsters around the world. You will use the Nectar to grow Watermelons or to exchange for seeds or Chrono weapons with Puss the Cat. Nectar is tradable.
- Plant seeds into flat ground. The different kinds of seeds are:
Watermelon Seed: Purchased from Puss the Cat for 1 Nectar. Used to grow regular Watermelons. Tradable.
Honey Watermelon Seed: Purchased from Puss the Cat for 50 Nectar. Used to grow Honey Watermelons. Tradable.
- Cloned Watermelon and Cloned Honey Watermelon Seeds: Dropped from monsters. Used to grow Watermelons or Honey Watermelons, respectively. Not tradable.
- Use 5 Nectar to grow a Young Watermelon or a Young Honey Watermelon into its mature state. Either type of young Watermelon must reach maturity within 3 minutes, or it withers and returns to the earth. When mature, a Watermelon or Honey Watermelon transforms into one of three different kinds of Watermelon or Honey Watermelon (respectively): Spoiled, Rain, or Large Rain.
- Smash the mature Watermelon within 1 minute and 30 seconds. You can smash a Watermelon without a special weapon. You need a Chrono weapon and help from your friends to smash a Honey Watermelon. Chrono weapons can be purchased from Puss the Cat for 10 Nectar each. Chrono weapons look and sound like musical instruments. They are tradable.
- Reap your reward from the particular smashed Watermelon!
Watermelons
Young Watermelons sprout from Watermelon Seeds. If you use 5 Nectar on a Young Watermelon, it matures into one of three different kinds of regular Watermelons:
- Defective Watermelon.
- Rain Watermelon.
- Large Rain Watermelon.
These Watermelons drop only Nectar.
Honey Watermelons
Young Honey Watermelons sprout from Honey Watermelon Seeds. If you use 5 Nectar on a Young Honey Watermelon, it matures into one of three different Honey Watermelons.
- Defective Honey Watermelon.
- Rain Honey Watermelon.
- Large Rain Honey Watermelon.
Honey Watermelons can be smashed only by Chrono weapons. Honey Watermelons are hardy, and you are more likely to successfully smash a Honey Watermelon within the time limit of 1 minutes and 30 seconds by grouping up with friends.
Honey Watermelons drop greater rewards than it's nectar-bearing counterparts. Some of the rewards are rarer, depending on what kind of Honey Watermelon it can be found in. Please note that the rewards list has been updated to correct errors on October 26, 2011.

The event runs from October 19 to November 2, 2011. Nectar and Cloned Seeds drop from monsters from October 19 to October 26, 2011. Puss the Cat remains in towns until November 2, 2011. When the event ends, all event items will be removed. All rewards received from the event will remain in the game.
Devotee Rewards

Enjoy playing as long as you can! Each week, characters that log 20 hours of play time will receive a reward, and a character that logs 30 hours of play time will get two rewards! Any character on a full account (not trial, inactive, or closed) is eligible to participate.

Player Commendation Event
October 19 - November 9, 2011
We commend your devotion over the years! The time you spend logged in will reward you with gifts of many kinds.
XP and Fame Boost
During the Player Commendation Event, everyone gets a 50% XP bonus, making the XP rate 1.5. This stacks with all Vitality-related items, but experience points gained from quests are not affected. This is a server-wide setting that affects all characters regardless of class, level, or account type.
Also, the Fame you gain from participating in castle sieges, territory wars, Clan hall battles, and fortress sieges is doubled!
Player Commendation Points (PC Points)
PC Points are a currency you can spend on items, buffs, Kamaloka entrance passes, and more. You can view your PC Points in the PC Points interface window. You will be awarded 1,000 PC Points the first time you log in every day. You will also earn 100 PC Points every five minutes that you are logged in. A character can have a maximum of 200,000 PC Points at a time.
Player Commendation Blessings (PC Blessings)
You will receive items in your inventory three times a day for being logged in for certain amounts of time.
- After 10 minutes, receive 1 PC Blessing. Increases your HP recovery bonus, max MP, and Critical Atk. Rate by 20%. Bestows upon you the effects of Prophecy of Water, Might, Haste, Empower, Acumen, Wind Walk, Vampiric Rage, Berserker Spirit, Shield, Focus, Death Whisper, Guidance, Clarity, Wild Magic, and Concentration. Effects last one hour. Cannot be exchanged or dropped.
- After 60 minutes, receive 1 PC Gift Box: Contains 1 PC Blessing and 1 PC Vitality.
- PC Vitality: For one hour, vitality is replenished while you gain XP. Cannot be traded, dropped, or destroyed.
- After 120 minutes, receive 1 PC Transformation Scroll Box. A box that gives an Anakim, Zaken, Demon Prince, Kechi, Gordon, Venom, Saber Toothed Tiger, Onyx Beast, Doll Blader, or Oel Mahum transformation scroll at random.
Daily Lottery
Every day, acquire one free lottery ticket from the Adventure Guildsman NPC. You can find out if you've won right away by clicking the ticket in your inventory; you must use your lottery tickets within 30 days. When you use your lottery ticket, you will instantly win a 100, 1,000, 2,000, 10,000, or 100,000 PC Point voucher. Give the voucher to the Adventure Guildsman to redeem your PC Points as currency. If the amount of PC Points in your winning ticket will make your PC Point currency go over 200,000 (the maximum), you cannot redeem it.
Kamaloka
- Rim Kamaloka (Solo): 1,000 PC Points to enter. Daily instance. Access by speaking to a Pathfinder Work NPC in town (different Kamaloka levels are available in different towns).
- There is a level 80 Rim Kamaloka available through the Rune Township Pathfinder Worker. In this special instance you can encounter some new monsters that have a chance of dropping a quest item that can be traded with the Rune Township Pathfinder Worker for a special random reward.
- Near Kamaloka (Party): 2,500 PC Points to enter. Daily instance. Access by speaking to a Pathfinder Work or Guard Captain NPCs in Heine, Gludio, Dion, Oren, and Schuttgart. The Kamalokas offered in these towns different by character level.
Teleport
The Adventure Guildsman offers teleports to some locations to which you cannot normally teleport, in exchange for PC Points. Destinations and prices differ, depending on which Adventure Guildsman you speak to.
Wyvern Ride
During the Player Commendation Event, wyvern rides are not for castle lords only! For 2,500 PC Points, you can ride one of these flying mounts for five minutes. Be sure to take screenshots as you fly into the sunset.
