To enter, click on the http link http://www.lineage2.com/news/event.html and sign up for the Lineage II™ Beta Challenge and submit your registered Lineage II™ account name OR real name, age and city/state/country of residence between the dates of 12:00AM PST 3/28/04 and 12:00AM PST 4/27/04 (the “Lineage II Beta Challenge Period”). All entries must be received during the Lineage II Beta Challenge Period. You must play Lineage II™ during the Lineage II Beta Challenge Period. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Only one entry per name and e-mail address will be accepted. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, incomplete, incorrect, or misdirected entries. Use of a false username or email account will disqualify an entry. Use of obscenities will disqualify an entry. Sponsor is not responsible for hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic or other communications. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, can disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the web site, or who otherwise violates these rules. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this contest if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor's control. Incomplete entries are invalid, and players with incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Eligibility. To enter the contest, (a) you must be 13 years of age or older to enter, (b) you must have Internet access and an email account, and (c) you must be a resident of the United States. Employees of NCsoft Corporation and their affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies and members of immediate families or households of such employees are not eligible. Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Duration. The contest begins on 12:00AM PST 3/28/04 and ends 12:00AM PST 4/27/04.

Selection of Winners. The winning players will be determined by representatives of NCsoft Corporation and the “Are You a Virtual Photographer?” and “Lineage II™ Directors!” submissions will be judged equally on the following criteria: originality, creativity, and humor. The winners will be determined on 4/5/04, 4/12/04, 4/19/04 and 4/26/04 and will be notified via e-mail. The odds of winning this contest depend on the total

Prizes. The following prize will be awarded to the winners:

If the winner of a category cannot be contacted at the email address they wrote from when registering, is contacted and does not respond within seven (7) days by signing an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release, or refuses or is ineligible to accept prize, a new winner for that prize may be awarded on or about 5/28/04. Prizes not claimed by alternately chosen winners will not be awarded. Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prizes for cash or other goods and services is permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal value. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the individual winners.

The winner will have his/her caption, forum (or real name) and city/state/country of residence posted on the front page of the Lineage II™ web site http://www.lineage2.com showcase our members of the game community, winners age 18 or older may be asked to answer some questions, provide personal information or to send NCsoft a personal headshot photo. This information will be used to recognize the winner on the pages of http://www.lineage2.com/news/event.html but is not necessary to claim prize. The winner can decline to provide any or all such information.

By entering into the contest, (a) you agree to all of the terms and conditions of these Lineage II™ Beta Challenge Official Rules and Conditions, (b) you warrant that you, and only you, played Lineage II™ during the Beta Challenge Period, and (c) if applicable, you assign and agree to assign to Sponsor all rights, title, and interest, including copyright, in or to your entry. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may edit and modify any submission before posting. Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from participation in this contest, acceptance, loss or use of any prizes awarded in this contest. You assume sole liability for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property or prize, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this contest or the acceptance, loss, shipment, or use of any prize awarded.
