Kamael were born in the Era of Myths. These mysterious creatures have preserved their own unique culture living within the confines of the Isle of Souls, a haven located to the west of the Dark Elf Village. They appeared on the continent under the guidance of the Gods. Unlike the other five races that were created by gods, it is speculated that they were created for the purpose of battling against some unknown creatures. They are born into their destined religion that serves an absolute ruler called the “Mother Nornil”. Under the Mother Nornil, they devote their faith in the Goddess of Past, who rules history, the Goddess of Present, who records everything happening at this moment, and the Goddess of Future, who forecasts what’s to come.

Special Abilities of the Race: Kamael have an affinity towards darkness.  Because of this they can increase their own or decrease an enemy’s resistance to darkness, or bestow a darkness buff to their attacks. The Kamael can consume the souls of their enemies and turn the souls into energy to fuel their own skills. Most of their skills such as laying traps, buffs and magic can only be activated upon consuming a certain number of souls. The Kamael can only wear Light Armor, and when using recovery magic, a 60% penalty is applied.

Characteristics: The Kamael specialize in different classes according to their gender.  They are classified as fighters by default; however, spell abilities are usable by absorbing souls.

Hidden away on the Isle of Souls, all male Kamael begin their rise to power as a Soldier. Soldiers use a basic combat style similar to that of other races.  They can use a wide array of weapons and have a special skill that absorbs the soul of a destroyed enemy. Male Kamael Soldiers have the highest “Str” among the races (same as Dark Elf), but the lowest “Men” (same as Human Fighter).

Play Style:

The Male Kamael Soldier is the first class for all Male Kamael, and is similar to other basic fighter classes. His attack power is comparable to that of the Dark Elves, which is currently the highest.  His magical potencey is also very high. The Male Kamael Soldier also has the second fastest attack speed, eclipsed only by the Elves; however, his defense power and stamina are relatively weak. The Male Kamael Soldier learns a skill early in his training that allows him to absorb the soul of his enemy.

Female Kamael Soldiers are the almost exactly the same same as Male Kamael Soldiers as far as available skills, but they have a far quicker attack speed and weaker attack power than their male counterparts. The skills that Kamael Soldiers learn are the same, but when they reach their first class change, Male and Female Kamael soldiers have different choices. Female Kamael have the highest “Dex” among the races (same as Elf Fighter).

Play Style:

The Female Kamael Soldier has less stamina and attack power than the Male Kamael Soldier, but she has greater attack speed. As her level increases, the Female Kamael Soldier is also able to learn a skill that enables them to see and remove traps. Restrictions on soul absorption, resistance to healing magic, and armor are the same as that of the Male Kamael Soldiers.
